Famous Hindi heroine is currently working in the film Sammohanam, and the movie will be released in the theatres from tomorrow. The actress is actively promoting the film. Aditi Rao Hydari is an Indian actress and singer who works predominantly in Hindi and Tamil language films. She made her on-screen debut with the Malayalam film Prajapathi. Sammohanam is a 2018 Indian Telugu coming of age love story film written and directed by Mohanakrishna Indraganti. Produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, it features Sudheer Babu, Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead roles. The music was composed by Vivek Sagar while P. G. Vinda handled cinematography. The actress is making her debut in Telugu with the film. She interacted with the media and here is her interview.
How is it playing a heroine on the screen too?
It was excellent. In Hollywood, I used to see such subjects, but this is the first time I am doing something like this. I took a lot of care in doing the movie, and finally, I am happy. There is a lot of hard work that goes into a heroine’s life every day. It is good that we get to see such things in this film.
Why are you accepting character artist roles?
I am an artist first and would like to work with certain people. Hence, I chose their projects even it is a small role. But, the story is important to me, and everything is secondary. I want to work with Sekhar Kammula, Mysskin, and Gautham Menon.
How is it working with Mani Ratnam?
He is a mentor to me. No one else would explore the talent in us like how he does. I am always happy to work with him.
How did Sammohanam happen?
One day, Indraganti garu called me and narrated the story to me. I liked the script, but the dates are not available. The team waited for me, and that is how the project happened.
How is it dubbing for yourself?
I am a Hyderabadi, and my grandfather used to make us talk Urdu and Telugu. I never thought that I would learn Telugu and dub for my role. It was good doing that.
What is your response to Cheliya failure?
I am not sad. I wanted to work with Mani Ratnam, and I did. The film did well in Tamil. I want to think about negative things decidedly less. I believe in happiness.
What is your role in Sankalp Reddy’s next?
I am playing an Astronaut in the movie. I am learning Ropeworks in the morning and joining Mani Ratnam sir’s shoot in the evening.
